I agree China Eastern's website is spartan on info/links, but here is Air China's Excess Baggage fees, take a look, I would hope not all the airlines are similar as Air China in China, as they charge (International) $500 for a oversize item,(158cm), that is about the length china eastern baggage allowed of a bike/but the box may be bigger, if is overweight too (24K) or more, add another $100.
