Sites are very close together. Beach is very close. No swimming is allowed. Big fishing area. 20 minute drive into Galveston beach area across a toll bridge, so a $10 trip both ways. No close shopping so bring what you need. Very peaceful, a lot of birds and fishermen on the beach. We camped at San Luis Pass County Park in a Travel Trailer.
